Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, graced the world with his presence on September 8, 1996, in Lagos State, Nigeria. Hailing from Anambra State, his roots are deeply embedded in the southeastern part of the country. Raised in a musically inclined family, Mr Real’s upbringing was surrounded by melodies, as his father wielded a guitar, and his mother lent her voice to the rhythm. Inspired by the notorious iPhone theft case involving Seun Egbegbe, “Legbegbe” featured Idowest, Obadice, and Kelvin Chuks.

Riding high on the success of “Legbegbe,” Mr Real inked a record deal with Sony Music Africa in 2018, solidifying his position in the industry. His EP titled “The Street General” showcased his versatility and featured hits like “Baba Fela,” “Onigbese,” and “Lambalimolanba.” Collaborating with artists like DJ Maphorisa, Niniola, Zlatan, and Phyno, Mr Real’s influence reverberated not just within Nigeria but globally.
